The Rockies will begin their first homestand of 2013 tonight and there probably isn't a better place for hitters than Coors Field. Wilin Rosario has gotten off to a great start this year, going 5-9 with a homer in his first two games carrying over the momentum from his .370, 4 HR, spring training. Rosario will be facing Jason Marquis, who hasn't had a sub-4.00 ERA since 2004. Rosario is comfortably priced at $3,300 on Fanduel.com, which ties him with many other catchers (including some duds like Miguel Olivo and Kurt Suzuki) as the ninth highest-priced catcher.
Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Pitcher of the Day- Jake Arrieta, Baltimore Orioles
On a day in which most teams are throwing their fourth and fifth starters, there's not a lot in terms of "bargains" available, just bad pitchers (or pitchers in bad matchups) priced appropriately. Jake Arrieta, however, could be an inexpensive pitcher that pays dividends. Arrieta is coming off a great spring (1.56 ERA) and is facing a Twins team against whom he's had some career success (2.65 ERA). He's priced at only $4,900 on Fanduel.com, which will leave you plenty of money for hitters.
