Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Hitter of the Day- Garrett Jones, Pittsburgh Pirates

Although he's off to a slow start this year, Jones is traditionally a killer of right-handed pitching (.278/.346/.502 for his career) and he's facing right-hander Brandon McCarthy in Arizona tonight. McCarthy got lit up in his only start so far this season, and isn't strong against left-handed hitters like Jones (.288/.342/.428 last year).  Jones is available for just $3,300 tonight on Fanduel.com.

Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Pitcher of the Day- Jeremy Guthrie, Kansas City Royals
Guthrie's overall numbers from a year ago weren't good, but his ERA was largely inflated by the part of the season that he spent in Colorado. With Kansas City, he had a tiny 2.40 ERA in games played at Kauffman Stadium. Guthrie is also off to a hot start this year, with a 9 K, 1 BB, performance in his first start of the year. Guthrie is available for just $6,300 on Fanduel.com.
